Aries: 21st March – 20th April

Family matters are in your face this month, which may just get in the way of your own personal interests. You will need to put up and shut up at least for a couple of weeks, by which time help will be at hand. If you own your property, you may decide to build an office or some other kind of extension. Your parents or some older relatives may demand some of your time as well. This could be a time when old matters are resolved – thus giving you the chance to think about a brand new beginning. Your career has been going well for you this year, with Jupiter in your Solar 10th House – maybe not giving you results as quickly as you would like – but it really is a case of slow and steady winning the race – and that could be you, Aries!

Taurus: 19th April – 20th May

A good period for you to get out and about exploring your neighbourhood, socialising with neighbours, siblings and other family members. There will be a lot of paperwork to get through as well, this month – could you have been leaving it until you felt enthused enough to get it done? Well, that time has arrived and you’ll likely be surprised by how easily it gets done. If you have to take your driving test, either practical or written then this is a good time. In a very un-Taurus like manner you may be scattering your energies to much – behaving more like a Gemini in fact. Yes, there may be important decisions to be made, but you could just take time out to study your options and go for it. Your children may be filling the house with too many friends when all you want to do is have time to yourself.

Gemini: 20th May – 20th June

This is the month for looking at your finances – both your income and outgoings. You may find that your partner is wanting to make a large purchase that requires a mortgage or bank loan – just make sure you define your boundaries clearly so that you don’t end up having to make all the payments. This could be a good month to start some saving plan or budget. You could also look at your gifts and talents this month – maybe there’s something deep down you’ve always wanted to do, and maybe were good at as a child. Well, this New Moon could offer you a way of finding the courage to go and do it – or at least check out ways of developing it into a skill later on in the year. Talent always demands that it gets expressed one way or another – and it could be now for you.

Cancer: 21st June – 22nd July – see Happy Birthday Cancerians.

Leo: 22nd July – 22nd August

I know it kind of goes against the grain for a Leo to want to be alone, but this month may surprise you. It will certainly surprise everyone around you when you step back slightly from your usual social whirl. It could be a good time for you to actually go on a retreat or some other kind of spiritual experience that takes you away from everything that is familiar to you. If you do, it will certainly open your eyes to many things about yourself that you may need to develop or even change. It could even be a good time to take up a painting holiday or creative writing holiday, as you are always looking for ways to develop your self-expression. This is not a good month to think about changing your job – just stick to your routines – and hold your fire! If you do want a change – do some research first.

Virgo: 22nd August – 22nd September

Your innate shyness could be challenged now as you are getting lots of invitations for socialising, group activities and friendships. This is a good month for you to examine your goals and hopes for the future. If you aren’t sure about what you want, then ask a friend to help or seek out those who know how.  You may be thinking that you are worth a raise in salary or being stretched more in your career – setting out your goals first can help you get clear about it. You may make an important new friendship this month that could really boost your confidence. A friend may ask you to help with some youth or community project – you love to be useful to others and this could really nourish that part of your nature. A child may introduce a new partner to the family mix which could be fun.

Libra: 22nd September – 23rd October

Your boss may be very demanding this month and expect you to drop everything at a moment’s notice to finish some deadline or other. However, your social skills are excellent which can help you to keep things smooth at work. This means that it is your career or business that you are focusing on with a view to moving up the ladder of success. You will improve your status and popularity rating by doing a very good job that may even come to the public eye – or at least the attention of your boss or even his boss. Parents may also demand your time and attention – in short you are going to be pretty busy all round this month. Just make sure you take some time for yourself and your partner to enjoy life. A child may take a part time job for the summer which could help financially.

Scorpio 23rd October – 21st November

This month’s New Moon can really offer you lots of opportunities for putting yourself out into the world – the Internet, blogging, writing and creating all offer you an exciting future. You may be planning your summer holidays – to far away places that stretch your understanding of the planet. Deep sea diving, potholing, exploring caves and deserts could really stimulate you – and give you lots to talk about when you return. You will need to look at your long range plans for your future – really getting clear instead of just letting things happen willy nilly. Part of your plans may require you go to do some kind of training program to get the pieces of paper that society demands these days. Or you may suddenly decide to take a sabbatical and go exploring for a while to clarify your life path – you will explore yourself as much as the terrain if you do.

Sagittarius 21st November – 21st December

This could be a month when you are asked by a partner to get a little closer – which may press your buttons, as you are really wedded to your freedom. So, the issue could be – to stay or go? Your decision and only yours. This New Moon puts the emphasis on all shared resources, whether that is financial, emotional, domestic or whatever will be in your face for the month. Just be sure that you don’t make any sudden moves that can’t be undone later. You may consider joining some personal growth program or therapy group – exploration of oneself is often as challenging as tackling a desert or mountain range. What you discover about yourself can lead to real freedom  – that of inner peace and self-acceptance. Then you may find intimacy less threatening and actually more fun in the long run.

Capricorn 21st December -19th January

This is the relationship New Moon – have you noticed that every July you seem to be re-calibrating all your friendships and close partnerships? This is when you begin to give them more of your time and soft-focus on your career goals, at least for a while. It is so easy for you to become driven by work demands and forget that there are others in your life who would like to spend quality moments with you. The truth is that you don’t need to give that much in terms of time, it’s really the quality that counts. One thing you may find you have to do is make concessions and find a good balance in everything that you are doing right now. This will really help with understanding and valuing each others needs – this will then lead to greater acceptance and an easier personal life.

Aquarius 20th January – 19th February

This month’s New Moon will endure that you spend time on getting the details right on whatever project you are working on. This doesn’t come easily to you as you would rather be fronting a focus group on some new social plan, but the fact of the matter is that no one else can do your details for you. Once you have all the Is dotted and the Ts crossed you will be in a very powerful position indeed. This month is about efficiency – that of your co-workers, employees and even your own body. You may decide to go on a new fitness regime or some meditation program which could enhance your well-being. Stress is not good for anyone and you are no exception. You may find that making plans for a makeover in your home – decorating or even extending – is easier than trying to sell in these hard times.

Pisces 19th February – 20th March

The New Moon this month falls in the area of self-expression and inspiration on your Solar chart. This means that you must examine your gifts and talents and begin to imagine them coming into reality. Pleasure and having fun are also on the cards for you. You can really get in touch with your inner child and maybe unlock some long held dream that could be worked on through the month. Take time to go to the cinema, theatre or simply walk by the sea – all these will revitalise you soul and nourish your creativity. Your imagination is your most powerful asset and needs to be exercised like anything else – so maybe join a poetry group a film club or something of that nature. Ideas don’t come out of the air they need to be triggered off by your senses. Remember, there are no new ideas – just old ones being reworked for the present time.
