The interpretations for the Full Moon below are by my friend and colleague Edgar Winter from Australia. I don’t usually write about Full Moons unless they are eclipses, which this one certainly isn’t. Edgar is a Sun Pisces and I think he captures the flavour of today’s Full Moon very well.
The effects of a Full Moon can last up to 2 weeks – until the following New Moon in Libra on Saturday 5th October. So give it a whirl and let me know what you think.
Also, my dear friend Theresiu Janicki-Hardy has just published beautiful book of poems entitled “Calling the Beloved – Inspirational Poems” published by Balbao Press, an offshoot of Hay House. It is a glorious book – the presentation of the poems and of Theresiu’s art work on both the cover and within the text is superb. These are her communications with the Divine that are written as love verses to gladden the heart and connect us with our yearning for God to walk among us.
It is available from Balboa Press www.balboapress.com, Amazon and your local bookseller or preferred on-line retailer:

The Pisces Full Moon is at 27 degrees and falls on Thursday, September 19th, 2013. Look at 27 degrees Virgo-Pisces on your Solar /lunar or Ascendant birth chart for what’s swirling along in the magic river. Virgo’s instinct to clean house extends to the unseen, and what’s usually just out of our sight range, under the spell of Pisces. This is a heavenly time for purification, and to revive enchantment in a big, wholesome way.
Aries : 21st March – 20th April – Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 12th House You’re sure to catch the celestial drift at this Full Moon. And all it takes is resisting the allure of escapist distractions (like elixirs and the strange brew of some people). The ah-has that come now can somehow vitalise your health or activate a desire to play a healing role. Be vigilant with dreams, as they guide you to sensible actions.
Taurus: 20th April – 20th May – Pisces Full Moon in your Solar Eleventh House. Prepare to experience having the invisible boundaries of your current matrix dissolve. This can be disorienting, until a wider cosmology can be established in its place. You might drift away from some friend connections, while gravitating to others. You pick up vibe streams of the human family — be watchful for messages that can be passed on, in your art, teachings or writings.
Gemini: 21st May – 21st June: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 10th House. You’ve got the most unworldly sign, in the house of making your magic real in the physical realm. And yet, most of the universe is dark matter, the realm of Neptune (and Pisces.) All this to say, it’s a Full Moon or breakthroughs — where your particular magic is on display. You could gain recognition for your accomplishments, many of them hard to put a market value on. Signs appear that guide you to what feels like a meaningful direction on the compass of life.
Cancer: 21st June – 23rd July: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 9th House. The dreamy currents of Neptune go walkabout in your house of the quest. This is a point when knowledge turns to wisdom, and you “talk your walk” with Virgo vitalised in the Third House. You might see areas where you can be more impeccable with your communication. You could dream of travel, or simply exploring. Dreams can be lucid, and be a source of signs and wonders.
Leo: 23rd July – 23rd August: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 8th House. The gift of grace happens here when dark chapters of life are seen in a new light. The balm of Pisces’ healing energies reaches what’s beyond conscious knowing. This can be like a soul retrieval, and is most beneficial for the body (and well-being). Energies that have been locked up tightly are seeds that grow, and that juice is available for the now. Deep catharsis can have the side-effect of helping you make the most of what you’ve got — your natural talents. And healing from trauma helps you live up to your high standards, and live your values.
Virgo: 23rd August – 23rd September: Pisces Full Moon in Solar 7th House. The higher octave of Venus — Neptune — is in your house of relating, for miraculous changes in status. You might feel a longstanding energetic bond dissolve, and with it a sense of relief. An act of forgiveness — perhaps triggered by deeper understanding — releases you from baggage. It’s a romantic Moon, where you’ll radiate integrity and empathy, and that’s attractive.
Libra: 23rd September – 23rd October: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 6th House. The miracle worker is on call at this Full Moon, so be sure to ask for “signs” on anything related to the flow of your day-to-day life. The body has messages, so listen to it or clues to creating more ease (and less dis-ease). What you uncover now has soul-deep roots — this is where miraculous change comes in. You might hear of a job worth looking into, or have an epiphany about new streams of income. Your confidence soars when you adjust your routine, to account or physical and psychic sensitivity. Becoming re-sensitised brings the magic back.
Scorpio: 23rd October – 22nd November: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 5th House. The spirit of generosity and play helps you make a beeline to magic at this Full Moon. See if you can soften demands (to be productive), and make space for acting on spontaneous impulses. Children lure out your own happy-go-lucky child inside. Humour closes the gap between you and another, and LOL’ing shifts awareness in miraculous ways. A love affair or new friendship that starts now feels fashioned by divine hands.
Sagittarius: 22nd November – 22nd December: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 4th House. This Full Moon, home is where the magic is. And there can be ah-has to do with origins, and the journey of the magical child (within you). It’s a great lunar pinnacle to hand over a knotty family dilemma to your own guardian spirits. Active surrender is powerful, and the release of ancient emotions can have a physical effect. Superb timing to spiritualise your living space, starting with de-cluttering. How can solitude be rich and restorative, instead of lonely?
Capricorn: 22nd December -20th January: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 3rd House. Be watchful for divinely orchestrated chance encounters and messages. As an exercise, read into everything along your way as a note from the universe. See if it becomes a two-way exchange. Ask for the answer to a question, and see if the random answer appears. Very useful health information could come in a serendipitous way. You pick up on the vibes in a voice, news or body language. This could bring startling revelations, that help you make sensible choices in the days ahead.
Aquarius: 20th January – 19th February:Pisces Full Moon in Solar 2nd House. Epiphanies to do with ownership — a shift of consciousness related to property and things. Seeing any invisible cords and baggage linked to possessions. Experiencing divine intelligence in the natural world. Putting fine energy into your craft. Seeing (sharing or creating) the beauty of kindness. Offering or receiving material support, or giving of your time or talent. Attune to the vibration of Neptune (Pisces’ ruler), through this house’s ruling planet Venus. Create an atmosphere with the sublime — heavenly and earthly.
Pisces: 19th February – 20th March: Pisces Full Moon in your Solar 1st House. Compassion for your body image issues, dissolving beliefs to do with how you appear to others. Releasing out-of synch clothes, shoes, etc. Feeling free to experiment with new looks. Making a kind impact on others. Be alert to patterns of psychic sponging, and allowing others to co-opt your attention, pull on your heart strings. You are super sensitive — make the most of it by sheltering your personal “atmosphere of self.” Avoid harsh places and people that make you want to check out.

Just a comment on last week’s blog – the FOMC meeting mentioned in last week’s blog is NOT going to happen on this heavy day – but has been postponed until another date. How good is that? Exactly what the astrologer wished would happen – some days are just not good days to make big decisions that would affect millions worldwide – and the last couple of days could have been a disaster.
It will be interesting to see the new Australian LNP has been voted in headed by Tony Abbott – a Scorpio himself who will respond to this strong combination of Venus/Saturn/Moon Node all sextile Pluto. What kind of government will it bring one wonders?
