Taurus is ruled by Venus, planet of beauty, sensuality and art. It is a fixed earth sign and therefore you can be very resistant to moving or making decisions quickly. This month, however, Venus is sitting in Aries with Mars – and when these two planets come together – well, romance could be in the air – or certainly all relationships are intensified and made much more dramatic than usual. This trend is likely to last for a couple of weeks, and so if you feel uncomfortable with all that heat – tough! It’s happening for a reason and will clear a lot of your social life out for you – things that you have been putting up with and doing about them. Now is the time to get moving.
Venus has been moving very slowly these last couple of months, and actually doesn’t pick up much speed for another month yet. As it is in your Solar 12th House, you may feel that you are still in the dark about certain things. If you are in a situation where you have to keep things under your hat for whatever reason this could pile on the frustration; but with the New Moon now in your sign, you can at least begin to map out a possible plan of action for the future.
Life does get interesting, though, as Mercury, planet of communication, begins his backward glance into Taurus on 7th May. This could bring a month of your past coming into your present and creating a new future for you. So, people whom you thought long gone or ideas that you put on the back burner could just come up trumps this months.
For Taureans whose birthdays fall halfway through May, then this period is particularly intense, due to the above triple conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron – they will certainly challenge you about where you are going and what it is you want out of your life. However, other factors operating right now will support you in whatever decisions you make for the short term. In the longer term, you will just have to pull on your famous patience – chew everything over and don’t rush into anything without consulting a good and trusted friend first.
June/July will be happier months with Venus still schmoozing with Mars, but this time in your Solar 1st House out in the open for everyone to see. It promises to be a fun period of time for you. The eclipse pattern will play across your Solar 3rd and 9th Houses during the same time and will bring much needed discussions and exploration of some new world view or philosophy that you may discover. However it works, you will not look at yourself in the same old way again. The past will be behind you. A sibling may call on you for help during this period, and your neighbourhood could go through huge changes – some of which you may not agree with.
August/September could be more of the same, really, and some of the commitments that you take on could prove to be irksome – just be sure when you say ‘yes’ to something or someone, that there is a get-out clause in the arrangement. there could be a ‘situation’ with a co-worker that may take time out of a very busy schedule to work through.
By October, Mars, your relationship planet begins to slow down for his 6 month sojourn in your Solar 4th House of family and domestic matters. This is likely to be disruptive, because that’s the way Mars is – but it’s important to remember that he’s not out to get you – just there to help you clear out a lot of old attitudes that you may have been holding inside for far too long. Time to let it out – and there’s no rush, either.
By the end of the year, Saturn enters your Solar 6th House of work related matters – bringing some decisions that need to be made. You could be looking at going back to college or equivalent to add to your skills. There could be delays that may work in your favour. By January/February things could be clarifying for you.
With Jupiter entering your Solar 11th House of friendships and long-term objectives in February/March, 2010, life takes on a very fresh and exciting turn for you. This is the Luck Factor writ large.
